Mystery Stegosaurus Carvings in the Temple of Cambodia

Kriptozologi puzzles may arise from the most unexpected places. This time it is the country of Cambodia. One of the most famous sites in the region is forest Ta Prohm temple which was built about 800 years ago. Like the other monuments originating from the same period, the monument is also filled with carvings adopt the Buddhist and Hindu mythology.

But there is a carving that had baffled archaeologists. Close to exit the temple, found a carving of small-headed creature, with four legs and bring the diamond-shaped fin on his back. Image that resembles a Stegosaurus!
Ta Prohm is a temple built by the Khmer civilization circa 1181 BC. This temple was rediscovered in the 16th century by Catholic missionaries and Portuguese explorers.

For information, Stegosaurus is a creature that is not known prior to 1877. Othniel Charles Marsh who discovered the bones of the creature named "Stegosaurus" on the creature. Meaning of the name itself is a lizard roof. Marsh thought that the fins on his back like tiles on a roof.

Animal carving is so popular among tourist guides who often ask the tourists if they believe the dinosaurs were alive 800 years ago. Then they would show this picture to the tourists. Is it possible that a hoax of modern engravings made to deceive the tourists? or carving it's really an ancient artifact like the others? Could the founders of the temple Stegosaurus fossils ever witnessed, or even ever come across these creatures alive?

Some people have tried to reject the theory that the carving is Stegosaurus. They put forward the theory that it is a carving of a rhino with ornaments carved on the edge of the circle so that the effect Stegosaurus.

But I have a theory of his own. I would argue that it is true carving a Stegosaurus. Here's why:

First, I compare it with carving carving Stegosaurus other animals in the temple. I found lots of other animals carved on the temple has no ornament inside the circle. As the picture below:

Later, I discovered carvings of animals that have ornaments like stegosaurus dorsal fin. However, all the trappings that have something in common, that is carved BEYOND CIRCLE. None of which have carved ornaments IN CIRCLE (Stegosaurus Carving has also ornaments outside the circle). See pictures of this dibawha.

If the fin is an ornament, Why only "Rhinos" which has ornaments IN CIRCLES? The answer is clear! It was not an ornament.

So I conclude that the engraving is actually Stegosaurus carving. But there is the possibility of carving was added after 1877 by the cruel hands of someone who wanted to make other people confused. This occurs at the Cathedral of Salamanca in Spain that was built in 1102. On the walls of the 900-year-old cathedral is found carving a person with a full astronaut suit. This triggers a prolonged discussion on the internet. Only a few know that the carving was actually added in 1992 when the Cathedral restored. It could be the same thing happened in the temple of Ta Prohm. But until now no information that the addition of engraving ever done.

Or maybe ..... Stegosaurus was wandering in Cambodia had 800 years ago.
